Editing Client Fees

Edit or Cancel client fees
1.)    Editing a client fee:
a.    Go to clients > Fees > View
b.    You can customize the view to add additional filters as needed in order to search faster.
c.    Ensure that you have inline editing turned on.
d.    You can sort by any of the columns and then once you have found the proper fee you can select edit in front of the fee and make the necessary changes as long as the fee has not been billed. (Would be in a closed status with an invoice number in the billing transaction column on the viewing summary)
2.)    Cancel a client fee
a.    Go to clients > Fees > View
b.    You can customize the view to add additional filters as needed in order to search faster.
c.    Ensure that you have inline editing turned on.  
d.    You can sort by any of the columns and find the proper fee. (Can only cancel the fee if it hasn’t been billed)
e.    The 2 columns you need to change on the fee record can be done from this main fee list since we turned on editing. We need to change the billable column and the fee status column to affect the WIP.

f.    You will need to make the billable Yes into a no by selecting the box and removing the checkmark. Then change the Fee Status column to say Cancelled. Once those 2 things are done, refresh the page and the WIP will be gone meaning that it is “cancelled”. This will not show on the client record or on any WIP report.
