Attaching an Existing Contact to a Client

If a Contact exists in your system, you can attach existing contacts to clients.

Client Auto-Numbering Preference

If you need to adjust or reset you auto-numbering feature for client id in Practice ERP you will follow the items. In the Administrator role, navigate to Setup then Company then Auto-Generated Numbers. Find the highest number used for clients (that's correct), put that number in the Initial Number field and check the Update checkbox. Once that is checked click on the blue Save button. That will reset the "Current Number" once you create a new client.

Staff Accountant Access to Client Contacts

Due to the limited license role for the Staff Accountants there currently is not access for this role to see client contact information. Within the My Workspace menu there is a Client Contact search but this does not include all contact data. GVO is currently working on building a Search in order for this role to have access to this information.

Make Copy - Client Record Make Copy Function

When creating a new client you can now have a Base template client or Make a new client based on an existing client. This will bring in all pre-filled data and can be edited to fit the data of your new client setup. If you have a Base client go to that client record. You must be in Edit mode on that Client Record in order to use the Make Copy function. This is located under Actions. After you click on Make Copy a new page will load with that new client record.
